Abstract

Centralized and decentralized robust servomechanism problems for time-delay systems are considered. Sufficient and necessary conditions for the solvability of these problems are presented. The conditions for the two problems are compared and it is shown that the conditions for the centralized problem are in fact a special case of the conditions for the decentralized problem. The structure of the controllers that solve each problem are also presented.
