Particularly, in automation, industries and environmental monitoring, sensors and electronics technologies are playing a fundamental role in different studies of science and engineering. Sensor's design and miniaturization have experienced unending change and development together with their use cases’ enlargement. Modern sensor set up, production and calibration have been relatively complicated. Hence, even though sensing devices have considerably enhanced the quality of human lives and they are widely deployed in IoT applications, several safety and risk issues are yet to be resolved. This chapter introduces ubiquitous monitoring of interiors and health via various sensors. There is the writing on technological advances in the fields of radiation, water, and the air. From the sky, it seems the solid-state ubiquitous sensors are considered fundamental elements in all new Intelligent Applications (IA) related to health and safety monitoring. The combination of miniaturization with a set of gamification strategies and machine learning methods for analyzing the large volume of acquired data may help to greatly enhance the effectiveness of a wide-spread implementation. The green miniaturized sensors for analytical and bioanalytical applications development philosophy should consider more about the next world in interior and exterior of the earth.
