Abstract

Green miniaturized technologies explore the convergence of environmental sustainability and technological innovation in the field of sensing platforms. This chapter investigates the recent advancements on the development and diverse applications of sensing platforms that prioritize green and miniaturized technologies. Thanks to a number of superiorities including energy efficiency, material conservation, and renewable resources, these sensing platforms offer promising solutions to environmental challenges while enhancing the capabilities of sensing systems. The chapter starts with an introduction section highlighting the significance of miniaturization, energy efficiency, integration, environmental sustainability, and cross-disciplinary applications. Then, the importance of green miniaturized technologies for sensing platforms is presented. In the third section, various sensing applications of green miniaturized technologies in different fields are demonstrated. Conclusions with future perspectives are also outlined in the final section of the chapter.
