Graduated from the Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 1996. He received his master’s degree in organization theory from the Eskisehir Osmangazi University in 2000 and his Ph.D. in human resource management from the Anadolu University in 2007. He spent a year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business as a visiting researcher for his post-doctoral project on institutional entrepreneurship between 2010 and 2011. After returning to Turkey, he worked at Istanbul Şehir University School of Management until 2020. He joined Maltepe University School of Business as a faculty member in 2020. Between 2021 and 2024, he served as the rector of the New York University of Tirana, affiliated with the Turkish Maarif Foundation, in Albania. He currently serves as vice rector at Anadolu University, which he joined at the beginning of 2025.
