Asst. Prof. Yasin Arslan completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University and his postgraduate education at the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Institute of Fine Arts at the same university. He completed his Proficiency in Arts (PhD Eq.) program at the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University in 2025 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University between 2015-2025. Yasin Arslan continues his research and S in the fields of 3D modeling, character animation, acting in animated films, game animation, visual narration, and story development. He has been working as an Asst. Prof. at the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University since 2025. Having researched acting, emotional transfer, and rhythm in animated films during his graduate studies, Yasin Arslan continues his studies on the use of the Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) method in character animation, movement aesthetics/analysis, and game animation. Yasin Arslan, who supports R&D and education projects in the fields of 3D modeling, character animation, and gameplay animation as part of university-industry collaborations, has published articles, presentations, exhibitions, workshops, and other works both nationally and internationally. Currently working as an Asst. Prof. in the Department of Cartoons and Animation at Anadolu University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Arslan offers undergraduate and graduate courses in Acting in Animation, Motion Aesthetics in Animation, Gameplay Animation, Animation Applications, and Basic Design Education.
