Biography
Dr Yavuz Akbulut is a professor at Anadolu University,
specialising in the intersection of education and technology. He holds an MA in
Computer-Assisted Language Learning and a PhD in Instructional Design and
Technology. Before taking up his current professorship, Dr Akbulut was a
permanent or visiting scholar at various international institutions, focusing
on the innovative and effective use of emerging technologies in education.
Dr Akbulut has authored or co-authored over 70 articles, primarily in high-impact
journals. As a principal investigator, he has led 15 research projects and
contributed to many more. His contributions to the field have earned him over
20 national and international awards.
Dr Akbulut has an h-index of 18 on the
Web of Science, 20 on Scopus and 42 on Google Scholar, and has received more
than 6,650 citations.
His research interests include
- Cyberpsychology, behavior, and learning,
- Scale development and implementation methods,
- Working memory and multitasking.
He continues to contribute to the field
by conducting empirical studies on the effective use of technology in
education.
